The first four Geek Bar alternatives listed above all have unique traits which make them stand out. Ultimately, it boils down to flavor, and they are a match in that area as well. But none could be classified as Geek Bar clone or rival. They are philosophically quite different!

The RifBar Turbo-X is the first device listed that clearly targets the Geek Bar and attempts to beat it in a straight fight without any new value adds. It has a greater battery capacity, just as much power, higher e-liquid capacity and its high-quality screen is not quite as cartoonish. Rather than a rocketship, it provides something known as a "Puff Moment". The flavors of the RifBar Turbo-X 25000 collection provide a much more enjoyable moment than any combination of LED lights. 

Does it work? Absolutely! For whatever reason, RifBar initially chose to honestly list the puff count as 15,000+ and 10,000 in Turbo Mode despite being 18ml. The Geek Bar Pulse of course claims 25,000 puffs in Normal Mode, despite holding less e-liquid. That oversight has since been remedied and the RifBar Turbo-X is rated at 15,000 Puffs in Turbo Mode versus 25,000 Puffs in regular mode. It was rated as an excellent device in our RifBar Turbo-X Review.

The RifBar Turbo-X has the Geek Bar beat in terms of airflow control as well. The Full Color LED display is also brilliant and attractive.

Turbo Mode versus Pulse Mode

There is some market confusion when it comes to disposable vapes. Vaporesso has a Pulse Mode in their mods that carefully modulates high-wattage hits to create a more flavorful experience. This is a setting in the firm ware of a very sophisticated series of devices.

For whatever reason, there are Geek Bar Pulse users who have conflated the Pulse Mode of a $60 Vaporesso Gen with a one-time use plastic disposable vape and believe there is some magic software wrapped inside the Geek Bar. This is not the case. The Geek Bar Pulse, Pulse X and SkyView 25K disposable vapes are all superb and reliable devices with great flavor.

But what you taste and experience in Pulse Mode is increased wattage pumped through one half of a dual coil. In fact, sticking in only one mode will detract from your experience near the end. Dual core disposable vapes are designed to be used about equally in the two modes to split the burden of wear and tear. The only reason these coils can cut through 16 or 18ml of nic salts effectively is because each half of the coil is only expected to atomize 6 to 8ml.

With that technical breakdown out of the way, Turbo Mode in the RifBar Turbo-X is every bit a match for Pulse Mode in performance. Both the Geek Bar and Rif Bar leave an old BC5000 Elf Bar disposable vape in the dust when it comes to vapor production.
