Smok Novo

The original Smok Novo is a simple, draw-activated pod system with a compact zinc-alloy body and a 450 mAh internal battery, offering impressive life for its size. It uses 2 mL refillable pods and a side-fill design, making it a straightforward option for anyone who wants a no-buttons, inhale-to-vape device.

Smok Novo 2

Smok Novo 2 refines the original design with a larger 800 mAh battery for noticeably longer run time and improved airflow via added intake grooves on the sides. It’s still draw-activated and keeps the same slim profile and 2 mL pods, but adds better sensing, an updated LED battery indicator, and compatibility with multiple pod options (mesh and MTL) for different styles of vaping.

Smok Novo 3

The Smok Novo 3 is nearly identical to the Smok Novo 2. The first three generation of Smok Novo vapes are also cross-compatible. The Smok Novo 3 may have the same shape but has an improved draw-activation mechanism. It keeps the familiar Novo silhouette but upgrades performance with an 800 mAh battery, up to 25 W output, and refined airflow for a smoother, more consistent draw.

The Smok Novo 2 and 3 both have low-resistance pod options, using integrated coils. There is a cap on pure cloud chasing but they are quite capable of handling lower nicotine vapes.

The Smok Novo 3 has its own set of bespoke pods that are cross-compatible with the previos Novos. The capacity is 2 mL pods with integrated 0.8 Ω coils and remains cross-compatible with many Novo-series pods, including the Master Kit. If you like this original form factor, the punchy Smok Novo 3 still can compete well with rivals from Vaporesso and UWell.

Smok Novo X

The Smok Novo X is where the Novo line starts to feel more advanced, adding a small OLED display and fully adjustable power from 1–25 W while staying ultra-compact. An 800 mAh battery feeds 2 mL, 0.8 Ω MTL-focused pods, so you can fine-tune wattage for flavor and throat hit instead of being locked to a fixed output. It is also the odd Smok Novo out, as it is the first that is not cross-compatible with other models. But if you like a vape that is easy to carry and has adjustable wattage, it is a sturdy little device.

Smok Novo 4

Novo 4 keeps the slim pod look but adds a lot of control: adjustable airflow via a side ring, 5–25 W adjustable wattage, and a new pod system that uses replaceable LP1 coils instead of built-in ones.

With an 800 mAh battery, Type-C charging, a small screen, and 2 mL pods, it’s a good bridge between simple beginner pod and feature-rich kit. This design marks a switch from integrated coil to a swappable design, which allows for a larger internal coil airflow, if perhaps a slight dip in convenience but reduced waste.

Smok Novo 5

Novo 5 pushes the series further with up to 30 W of power, a 900 mAh battery, and an informative 0.69" OLED display. It offers both button- and draw-activation, an adjustable air-inlet ring, and 2 mL top-fill pods with integrated mesh coils, designed to balance flavor, vapor, and leak resistance for everyday use. 900 mAh battery and up to 30 W output. It may not have the animations of the Geek Bar's of the world but it can deliver just as much power.

Smok Novo 6

Smok continues their efforts at cross compatibility as the Smok Novo 6 is compatible with Smok Novo 5 pods. With up to 40W of output and a 1700mAh battery, this is easily the most power Smok Novo yet. It is beginning to cross into the market previously occupied by the larger Smok Nord and can easily handle high-VG vape juices with its adjustable wattage and dual mode activation. The 0.6ohm pod can provide a great vaping experience with vapor production sufficient for lower nicotine vaping. The 0.93" TFT screen makes for a stylish and classy looking refillable pod kit.
