The Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K has arrived at Mi-Pod and the debut flavors are Bull Edition. This combination of energy drink inspired flavors and an advanced new Geek Bar Pulse flagship promised to be a compelling combination for adult vapor consumers.

What Is the Difference Between the Geek Bar Pulse, Pulse X and Pulse X 2?

The original Geek Bar Pulse helped redefine the modern disposable vape category by introducing dual vaping modes and a smart display system into the disposable vape market. As the limit for coil durability was reached, switching to a dual coil that utilized two halves was a clever move. As puff counts increased with capacity, the necessity for better e-liquid monitoring was obvious as well. The combination of innovation and flavor made the original Geek Bar Pulse a best Seller. 

The original Geek Bar Pulse had a capacity of 16ml with a puff count approximately 7,500 in Pulse Mode and 15,000 Regular Mode. The battery capacity is 650mAh. With Space Race graphics and imagery, the Geek Bar brand was established by the Pulse.

The Geek Bar Pulse X expanded on that formula with a more futuristic design language, upgraded display aesthetics, and improved overall hardware efficiency. With a Starry Display, unique astronomical graphics and enhanced performance, the Geek Bar Pulse X was an excellent successor. Where the tires meet the pavement, it could generate 15,000 puffs in Pulse Mode and 25,000 in Regular Mode. The battery was slightly larger at 700mAh. The 3D Curved Screen was impressive in appearnce.

The new Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K represents the largest leap forward in the series so far. It dramatically increases puff capacity to up to 50,000 puffs in Regular Mode while introducing upgraded dual mesh coil systems with parallel heating elements for better e-liquid efficiency, stronger flavor retention, and more consistent vapor production. The X 2 also improves battery performance with faster USB-C charging, upgraded smart chipset management, adjustable airflow refinement, and a larger, more advanced 3D curved LED display featuring Galaxy Cascade UI animations and Binary Halo lighting effects.

Compared to the original Pulse and Pulse X, the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K feels like an upgrade with improved but familiar performance. It is more efficient, lasts longer, has better flavor, and denser vapor. These are the attributes adult nicotine consumers seek, more so than images of Saturn and the Andromeda galaxy, no matter how cool nostalgic 1960s Space Race imagery might be. There are a lot of stars in the disposable vapes galaxy but the mightiest, brightest and most powerful Geek Bar Pulse is certain to garner a lot of attention.

Ultimately, the market will decide if the improved technology in the Geek Bar Pulse is enough to keep the Pulse at the top of the market. Note that the Pulse X 2 features a huge puff count and a lot of technological innovations that are subtle and extract more performance and satisfaction from a similar sized device and similar quantity of e-liquid.

Rival Lost Mary chose this same sensible path with the MT35K turbo and Viz 55K, rather than branding a regular power mode as nicotine boost or offering flavor control technology. Both brands have every reason to believe their flavors are enough. 

As for using the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K, at face value it is a bit ostentatious for the author's taste but is no more mod-like in size than the Pulse X or say a RifBar MixPro. It strains credulity a bit to believe a 0.6ohm coil and an 18ml capacity is 50,000 puffs while an 0.8ohm capacity of 16ml was 15,000. But the numbers aren't standardized in any event. 

What matters is the flavor production and vapor. And the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K does have better flavor and is more assertive than its predecessors. That fire as hard as it does and last as long as it does is amazing. At 50mg strength, it will be some time before I reach the bottom of any of these disposables to attest to the real world longevity. The regular draw is plenty loose, as the wattage of these disposables are on par with a vape pod kit and north of 20-watts. Pulse Mode as always is fraught and fairly intense for chain vaping but is enticingly flavorful.

It is interesting that the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K was wheeled out with innovative new flavors. It would have been easy enough to break out Fcuking Fab, sundry versions of B-Pop and Meta Moon, and then call it a day.

Geek Bar paired legitimate hardware improvements with a genuinely distinct flavor collection that stands apart from the usual disposable vape formula of layered confections, ice, and fruit combinations.

The upgraded dual mesh coil system, improved chipset efficiency, stronger vapor production, and surprisingly refined flavor retention make the Pulse X 2 feel like a real generational improvement over both the original Pulse and the Pulse X.

The flavors themselves are safer than they may appear at first, as each Bull energy drink flavor is underpinned by an exceedingly popular nic salt flavor. But it is important to play the hits as these are the flavors that adult nicotine vapor customers prefer.
