Types of Lower Nicotine Vapes

There are two major forms of nicotine vaping. Understanding these different styles will make it easier to choose the right low nicotine vape.

Direct Lung Vaping (DL)

The lowest nicotine strengths of all are found in high-VG e-liquids with freebase nicotine. Users of disposable vapes and refillable pod systems who vape smooth nicotine salts generally have two nicotine strength options per brand. Bottled nicotine salts generally have a 50/50 VG/PG ratio and emphasize dense flavor and not vapor.

Nic salts offer a difference style of performance and experience than the huge clouds which direct-lung vapers pursue. For bottled nic salts, the lower nicotine vape strength option ranges between 2.5 and 3 percent. While a huge drop from 5 percent, they are still many times more potent than the standard high-VG freebase e-liquids enjoyed by mod users.

Of course, the pod kit generates less vapor, so nicotine intake can be hugely influenced by vaping frequency and the sheer amount of liquid that a mod can burn through.

Unfortunately, there is a shortage nic salt style e-liquids with zero- or single-digit nicotine strengths.
