UT 50K Pros and Cons

Pros: Not just Ice Control but full vape flavors can be mixed and controlled in the UT 50K. Plenty of power with a very easy to use button and screen interface. Flavors are outstanding.

Cons: Seems like a lot for a one-time use vape. The squeezy UT Bar emblem on back looks somewhat out of place and is poor optics for an otherwise adult-friendly disposable vape.

How to Use the UT 50K

The days of disposable vapes with no button seem to be done. Adjusting flavors requires a button. In the case of the UT 50K there are two buttons and a switch at the base. The buttons are labelled Option A and Option B in the instruction manual. They are located on the rounded shoulder of the UT 50K, opposite the mouthpiece.

Option A: Top Button Primary Flavor Strength Control

The top button on the UT 50K controls the flavor strength of the first flavor listed on the package. This is the primary flavor and cannot be totally turned off. The pie chart with three triangles on the left of the screen never drops below one, meaning there are three levels for the primary flavor:

One Bar: Low Primary Flavor Strength
Two Bars: Medium Primary Flavor Strength
Three Bars: High Primary Flavor Strength

Option B: Bottom Button Secondary Flavor Strength Control

The lower button controls the strength of the secondary flavor, which not surprisingly is the second flavor listed in the name. Unlike the primary flavor, you can totally shut off the second tank. For the sake of an example, let us look at the Watermelon/B-Pop UT 50K. The primary flavor is Watermelon, and it will always be present in either low, medium or high amounts. If you click the bottom button to remove all the bars on the right of the screen, there will be zero B-Pop flavor. Your other option is to ramp up through the three levels.

One Bar: Low Secondary Flavor Strength.

UT 50K Display

As the image above shows, the UT 50K 2.01" display is a picture of simplicity. It looks like a Trivial Pursuit piece with pie shaped graphics that display how much of each flavor is being pumped into each vape. There is an outer ring of illuminated bars. There are five on the bottom marking the remaining charge. There are four on the left measuring the remaining contents of the primary flavor tank and a similar bar on the left measuring the secondary flavor. These tanks are not identical in size to compensate for the primary flavor always being activated.

UT 50K Controls

UT Bar boasts of 12 customizable modes, and there is a lot of flavor flexibility provided. Mercifully, they did not refer to the Boost/Turbo Mode as a nic boost. Instead, they framed the regular mode as an "Eco-Mode" which can generate a puff count of approximately 50,000. There is also a Boost Mode which produces more vapor due to the increased wattage and airflow. Boost Mode cuts the puff count in half but is extremely powerful.

UT 50K Appearance

The UT 50K looks a bit silly but the display is a picture of simplicity. The rounded shape makes it seem less bulky than it really is. The twin buttons provide control that is intuitive and much easier to understand than the instructions above suggest! The screen is large and flashy, with plenty of information and power.

Issue can be taken with the squishy area affixed to the rear of the UT 50K. It seems to be meant for squeezing by nervous types and fidgeters. It seems superfluous though, and possibly bad optics for the industry.

UK 50K Vaping Experience

This device is a joy to use. The clicky buttons have nice feedback. The display is huge and easy to read. It does look a bit silly with the UT Bar squeezy area on the back. But in terms of performance, it means business. Eco Mode provides plenty of punch while the Turbo Mode provides full throated performance with very intense vapor production for a 50mg vape.

It is a lot of time to mix and match flavor options, with the multiple settings working great and providing an immediately discernible difference in the flavors generated. When the second tank is turned off there is not any notable leakage while the primary flavor is always making up a goodly portion of the vapor mix.

UT 50K Flavors Review

The powered by Flum UT Bar collection has always done a great job with flavors. The UK 50K requires more of a balancing act as each disposable vape device contains two unique flavors that must be blended and fused at different levels. They also must have the character to stand on their own, as the primary flavor can be enjoyed with none of the secondary infused and the secondary flavor can be enjoyed with a low amount of the primary flavor involved.

Banana Smoothy/Strawberry UT 50K

The UT 50K starts off with a classic combination. Banana and strawberry vapes have been popular as individual flavors, when mixed with ice and when combined. They are a natural choice for a dual tank disposable with flavor fusing capabilities. The smoothy banana flavor is creamy and sweet, packing in the strawberry punch allows the user to really customize a perfect strawnana disposable vape.

Green Apple/Fuji Apple UT 50K

Our Verdict

The modular Off Stamp X-Cube with the Sweetness Cube disposable is much less wasteful as the battery component can be reused. But in terms of performance, the UT 50K does provide a unique experience. The display is great. The fidget promoting squeezable section is a poor idea though. Someone will take the ball and run with this to vilify a complex and impressive disposable vape that is sold in adult-friendly, characterizing flavors.

If you are looking for a lower nicotine strength option, flavor swapping vapes aren't going to help but the Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo is a perfect choice. It has superb flavors and performance. The available nicotine strength of 20mg isn't a true low nicotine vape but is less than half the potency of the standard 50mg model.
