Rifbar Mixpro and Orion Bar 50K: Flavor Boost and Nic Control Comparison
The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K Collection features great flavors and the disposable device itself is a splashy upgrade on the Orion Bar 10K.
With nic and ice control, it was a cutting-edge device. But as is to be expected, these key features soon appeared on rival devices. Rifbar Vapes has hit back with a flavor and nic boosting device of its own.
Disposable Vapes
The Rifbar Mixpro 40K is another nic control vape than also has flavor boosting capabilities. It is only natural to compare these two long lasting disposables vapes. Disposable vapes are the most popular devices with adult vapor consumers. They are efficient, affordable, satisfying, flavorful, and come in a wide variety of products. The new Rifbar Mixpro 40K and Orion Bar 50K bring a level of customization that is quite impressive for a closed (prefilled) vaping system.
Mi-Pod carries the best in disposable vapes as these products are most popular with adult vapor consumers. They offer peerless flavor, performance, and convenience. Check out our deep-dive Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K Review.
Rifbar Mixpro 40K Pros and Cons
- Pros: Sweetness boosted, and ice boosted flavors available. Great flavor and vapor production with triple mesh coil.
- Cons: Not a lower nicotine vapes alternative. Flavor boost is tremendous but is "Nic Boost" necessary with a 50mg boosted disposable vape?
Orion Bar 50k Pros and Cons
- Pros: The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K has a huge e-liquid capacity and great customizable features. It is also kind of a huge device, as these modern disposables are looking a lot like mods with an illuminated Saturn and Jupiter graphic at this point.
- Cons: The Orion Bar 50K boosts but does not reduce nicotine. Nic control feature appears little different than a pulse or turbo mode in operation.

Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K versus Rifbar Mixpro Features
The vape industry has moved way beyond the basic satisfying vaping experience provided by an Elf Bar BC5000. Advanced features, screens, and user controls are expected by adult vapor consumers. The first major innovation in this style was the Pulse Mode of the famous Geek Bar Pulse.
Comparison of Features
Both the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K and Rifbar Mixpro 40K have standout attributes, but they cater to slightly different priorities for vapers.
E-Liquid Capacity
The Orion Bar 50K boasts an edge with its 28ml e-liquid capacity compared to the Rifbar Mixpro’s 18ml. This allows for longer usage between refills. When cracked open, a higher percentage seems tied up in the flavor boost and this explains why puff counts seemed much closer in practice.
Puff Count
While the Orion Bar advertises an ambitious 50000 puffs, the Rifbar Mixpro offers a slightly more modest ~40,000 puffs. This makes the Orion Bar theoretically more long-lasting, though real-world results may vary based on vaping habits.
The e-liquid capacity is likely a better indicator of longevity. It is unlikely that any disposable vape is providing 50000 puffs, unless they are exceedingly small puffs, but the author's Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K has shown tremendous longevity and has yet to quit. This metric is getting trickier to suss out as capacity is now being split between two tanks.
Battery Capacity
Both provide quick recharges with type-C USB and are long lasting vape which can last more than a day with their impressive battery capacity. The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K has a 920mAh battery versus 900mAh in the Rifbar. This is a negligible difference, and both are great for extended use.
Adjustable Flavor Features
The Rifbar Mixpro features a triple mesh coil along with a Sweetness Control or Ice Control depending on the flavor. The ability to customize flavors is becoming a big thing in vaping. The Orion Bar 50K currently has Ice Control but they could theoretically release a Sweetness Control or even a Sour Flavor boost like the Fasta Burrst 35000. The use of a second tank integrated seamlessly could be a game changer.
Nic Control
Both the Rifbar Mixpro and Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K feature Nic Control. On the Orion Bar, it is the switch that previously labeled as airflow control. The Rifbar has a button to boost nic.
If you are looking to reduce nicotine, neither can function as a lower nicotine or a low nicotine vape. They are increasing the nicotine concentration with wattage and airflow. As such, the Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo and its 20mg nicotine selection is a much better option for adult vapers looking to reduce their intake.
Display Screens
The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K impresses with its 360 Infinite Galaxy Screen and Ice/Nic Control Systems, offering a futuristic and adjustable vaping experience.
The Rifbar Mixpro includes a full-color display. Both offer real-time battery monitoring. The Rifbar has a somewhat more fanciful e-liquid display with its graphic depictions including an old-fashioned e-liquid dropper bottle to represent nicotine. The Orion Bar 50K logically depicts celestial bodies, which actually makes sense considering their name.

Preferences are subjective as both display the e-liquid level, battery capacity, nicotine setting, and flavor boost setting. Both also offer rather impressive animations and a full palette of colors. If this seems wasteful in a one-time use device, there are now several powerful disposables vapes that have a modular design where the advanced screen and electronics are detached to be reused, while only the disposable half that contains the e-liquid is thrown away.

Our staff pick for modular vapes is the powered by Lost Mary Off Stamp X-Cube, which also offers flavor control. But there are other choices. The Digiflavor BRK is basically a modular Digiflavor Skyview with a detachable and another excellent choice. The Foger Switch Pro is another attractive workhorse of a disposable vape with a unique, clear tank.
The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K also impresses with its 360 Infinite Galaxy Screen and Ice/Nic Control Systems, offering a futuristic and adjustable vaping experience. On the other hand, the Rifbar Mixpro includes a full-color display.
Flavor and Vapor Production
Either of these disposables can deliver an impressive amount of vapor for a 50mg vape. The flavors are outstanding in both cases. Ultimately, flavor preferences and availability will be the deciding factor for most adult vapers.
Adult vapers can enjoy extended vaping sessions with ice and nic control using either of this disposable vapes. If the flavor density of the triple mesh coil is superior, the Orion Bar hits so hard that it hardly matters in terms of vaping experience.
Appearance
These are a pair of near mod sized disposable vapes loaded with features. Neither strictly speaking needs to look so formidable. They do require a more complex interface because of the customizable settings.
There is a quite different approach taken. The Orion Bar 50000 is dark yet illuminated. Named after Orion, it features a celestial theme. It is a bit over the top but mature in a Carl Sagan "Our Universe" kind of way.
The Rifbar Mixpro 40K is bright and features some blazing neon and dayglo colors. The graphics are straightforward graphic renderings: a melting ice cube/colored cube and a glass bottle with a dropper to represent nicotine are featured on the screen. This is one is a wash.
Our Verdict
These are powerful brutes. Their design language makes it clear they operate on the cutting edge with no shortage of real performance features. The Orion Bar 50K has some advantages on paper in terms of capacity but our staff kept coming back to the flavors and balance of the Rifbar Mixpro 40K.
There is no denying the convenience or technical chops of the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K or the Rifbar Mix Pro. If you want the flashiest screen, a ton of great flavors from trusted brands like Lost Vape and Rifbar Vapes, plus nic and ice control, they have you covered.
The ability to ramp up the sweetness and ice isn't just a parlor trick but really helps you customize the flavor. Which is nice as the Orion Bar 50K has a capacity close to an entire bottle of nic salts.
Neither Lost Vape or Rifbar vapes focused much on size reduction, these are both hefty device designs with a lot of cool features. The are chock full of e-liquid, with large displays and powerful hardware. In a reductionist world of performance, 50000 puffs and nicotine boost would make for an unbeatable vape.
Low Nicotine Disposable Vapes
This brings us to the primary demerit against these devices. Many adult vapers are seeking a lower nicotine vape and the first use of "Nic Control" is a boost.
Everyone should be aware that bigger puffs of the same e-liquid on the same coil are kicking out more nicotine. Enshrining this in a button might provide a nice cautionary warning but a device that advertised the opposite and provided an efficient and low wattage setting would be more useful for many adult vapor consumers.
The earliest nicotine vapes, like the first dismal Blu e-cigs, had nicotine strengths nearly as high as these disposables but they were intolerably harsh and bad due to the use of freebase nicotine.
Freebase nicotine is great for lower strengths, but the pH level makes it intolerable for most adults in higher strengths. The advent of nic salts allowed portability in vapes because a wispy, underpowered Juul could provide a satisfying nicotine alternative with a tiny battery and minimal wattage.
A tiny battery and minimal wattage are not really limitations with the Rifbar Mixpro and Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K. In Europe, 20mg nicotine is the maximum and 20mg is not low nicotine. Most bottled nicotine salts offer a 20 or 25mg strength.
If you are looking to reduce nicotine intake while enjoying the convenience of a disposable. The Flonq collection and Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo both have excellent lower nicotine collections. There are even zero nicotine disposables from brands like Geek Bar.
