Rhode Island Vapers: Support S. 543 to Save Flavored Vape Access

Rhode Island vapers and business owners, your action is needed! A new bill, S. 543, aims to provide an exemption from the state’s strict flavor ban for vape shops, allowing them to sell flavored vaping products once again.

Why S. 543 Matters

The state’s current flavor ban has severely limited options for adult vapers, pushing many toward less effective alternatives or even back to smoking. S. 543 would create a much-needed exemption for vape shops, allowing them to sell flavored vaping products responsibly to adult consumers.

A companion bill, HB 5239, was introduced in the House but has been “held for further study” by the House Corporations Committee, meaning it is unlikely to advance anytime soon. That makes support for S. 543 in the Senate more critical than ever.
