Geek Bar Pulse X versus Geek Bar SkyView

Geek Bar Overview

Geek Bar now offers three main models. The Geek Bar Pulse is the original device and a pioneer when it comes to disposables with multiple vaping modes. Designed for daily use, this disposable vape offers a powerful Pulse Mode that kicks out 20W of power mode and a regular mode that at 10W can extract an estimated 15,000 puffs.

It features what they described at the time as the world's largest display screen on a disposable vape. This screen had a rocket ship animation when in boost mode but also provided useful information on the battery's charge and e-liquid level.

The Geek Bar Pulse X 25K collection serves as an upgraded successor to the original Geek Bar Pulse. It has a greater e-liquid capacity (18ml versus 16ml) and is equipped with what they say is the world's first 3-D screen on a vape. A display board on the side of the device adds significant style.

The Geek Bar SkyView 25K collection has innovative features. It has three vaping modes and a slightly more business-like demeanor. All three disposable Geek Bar devices offer similar pre-filled vaping performance, draw activation control, and are charged with a type-C USB cable.

We have already compared the Geek Bar Pulse versus the Geek Bar Pulse X, with the mightier new disposable vape prevailing. The Geek Bar Pulse X 25k versus the Geek Bar SkyView is a more interesting match-up. Mi-Pod carries the best selection of the disposable vapes that American adults prefer because there are so many compelling options, If you are interested in deep-dive reviews of the products and their flavors do not miss:

Geek Bar Pulse X 25K Review

Banana Taffy Freeze Geek Bar Pulse X 25k- Constellation Gif

There may not be a disposable vape that is brighter and bolder in appearance than the Geek Bar Pulse X. The entire side of the device lights up like a starry sky when in the lower power setting. There is clearly a market for this sort of light show, but no one can accuse it of being subtle.

With a plethora of great flavors, it features two modes. If you are looking for an intense vaping experience, the Pulse Mode has the substance to back up the Space Age style. A constellation emerges on the curved screen on the side of the device when using full power.

The dual mesh coils are hard at work when handling 25W of power. Featuring the same style of airflow control as the original Geek Bar, the draw varies slightly depending on the mode. It may behoove users who chain vape to switch between modes, lest they force one half of the coil to burn through all 18ml of e-liquid.

Vapers have flocked to Geek Bar in part because adults enjoy their flavors, but the power of the puff also matters. But with competitors like the Lost Mary MO20000 Pro, which has adjustable wattage, being a convenient device is not enough.

Geek Bar may have pinned their hope for continued domination on flash and sheer power for the Pulse X. The Geek Bar SkyView allows adult vapers more flexibility to control the character of their puffs.

Geek Bar SkyView 25K

Twisted Blow Pop Geek Bar SkyView 25k

The Geek Bar SkyView 25K is certainly not stripped down or mild mannered in appearance. It is a big disposable vape with a huge 1.8" TFT Display front and center. It has animations and looks more like a vape mod kit than some old Puff Bar from 2016. Compared to the Pulse X though it cuts a more serene, although possibly just as bright, of a figure.

It may be called SkyView, but this disposable vape also features a Pulse Mode, which modulates the wattage through a dual core processor to efficiently extract dense flavor and vapor.

Unlike the Pulse X, it has not one but two additional modes. And you can switch between these modes with no trouble and the click of a button. This allows for an independent airflow control that can be opened and closed without changing the wattage setting.

Geek Bar SkyView 25K Modes

  • SOFT: 12W and ~25,000 Puffs
  • NORM: 18W and ~15,000 Puffs
  • PULSE: 25W and ~12,500 Puffs

Unlike the Pulse X, it has not one but two additional modes. And you can switch between these modes with no trouble and the click of a button. This allows for an independent airflow control that can be opened and closed without changing the wattage setting.

Geek Bar SkyView 25K Air Flow

For daily use and controlled vaping, the SkyView offers separate wattage and airflow controls.

This is a feature I really enjoyed and is becoming more prominent on modern designs. It may increase the size of the package a bit, the SkyView doesn't have a 3-D screen, holds less juice and is every bit as large as the Pulse X, but this is one of its most important features.

Geek Bar Pulse X versus Geek Bar SkyView 25K

Both of these disposable vapes have a boosted mode. They can be quick charged with a type-C USB cable. Either disposable vape offers a high puff count and is prefilled with delicious Geek Bar flavors. To add a bit of empiricism, we have created a rubric to provide a fairer rating when looking at a pair of quite similar devices.

Disposable vape technology has advanced so much that there is not much to differentiate a Geek Bar Pulse X 25Kand Geek Bar SkyView 25K on paper. These five categories will be used to provide our final rating.

  • Flavors
  • Performance
  • User Experience
  • Features
  • Value

Round 1: Vape Flavor Comparison

In our comparison of the original Geek Bar Pulse and Pulse X, the smaller and older disposable almost eked out on upset on the strength of its robust and expansive collection of disposables vape flavors. Realistically, these are all Geek Bar flavors of the utmost quality and there isn't a ton of variation in this market in terms of unique flavor profiles.

The Pulse X has the advantage in flavor count, but this is subject to change. The vape juice itself is all 50mg nicotine strength. Subjectively, a vaper may have a favorite, but the choices are essentially interchangeable. All of the Geek Bar's use the same dual core heating technology.

Winner: DRAW. The flavors are all excellent. Whether you prefer Fcuking Fab or Twisted B-Pop is going to be personal preference.

Round 2: Vape Performance

All of the Geek Bar's use "Pulse Mode" as their highest power setting and combine that with a restricted direct-to-lung draw.

Within this framework, the SkyView has some very real advantages here. The trio of modes and separate airflow settings means it vapes totally different depending on how you choose to use it. But it remains just as simple to operate, just open the box and puff away until the battery dies.

Featuring a full-throated 25W pulse mode, the SkyView beast when unleashed. The Pulse X can almost match it in terms of performance but simply does not have as many actual vaping features.

Winner: The GEEK BAR SKYVIEW has more modes, better airflow control and matches the Pulse X in power.

Round 3: Vaping User Experience

What if the cutting-edge feature of the Geek Bar Pulse X is something you would prefer didn't exist? This may sound tough, but I really liked that the RAZ DC25000 had a dimmer option. The Pulse X lights it up like a Christmas tree in regular mode.

The Geek Bar series of vapes are anything but stealthy with their vapor production, fruit aromas and size. It just seems unnecessary to churn out that much light.

The bright display on the SkyView also shows the wattage. This might not be necessary but seems a bit more germane than an illuminated constellation. It also appeals to someone who remembers or uses a vape mod.

Winner: Geek Bar SkyView having a button, airflow control, three modes, and more informative display.

Round 4: Vape Features

Not to beat a dead horse but again the question is the flashiness of a display versus extra functionality. The reality is that most adult vapers are going to be getting almost identical flavor, puffs, and vaping performance no matter which the choose.

If you prefer cool and attractive 3-D screens, then the Pulse X edges out the also impressive 1.8" TFT Screen on the SkyView. If user interface matters, the Geek Bar SkyView 25K takes another category win. Especially useful on the SkyView is that you can view screen by clicking a button and without taking a puff.

Winner: Geek Bar SkyView 25K with a narrow win if function is valued more than form on a pair of almost identically performing disposable vape devices.

Round 5: Vaping Value

The maximum possible puff counts are identical at 25,000. Obviously, you will be needing to take some meager drags to hit that target. The Geek Bar Pulse X disposable vape is pre-filled with an extra 2ml of 50mg nic salt e-liquid, which is a more useful indicator. Obviously, these are devices that blow gas station pod kits out of the water in terms of performance, value and flavor selection.

Winner: Geek Bar Pulse X 25K vape is pre-filled with slightly more e-liquid at the same price.

Our Verdict

Vaping modes win the day and airflow control contributes to the margin. The Geek Bar SkyView is by any measure a flashy disposable vape. The actual physical vaping experience is nearly identical in terms of the type of juice flavors, vapor production and potency.

The draws are somewhat loose and the puffs smooth. If you enjoy one you will enjoy the other. They are basically interchangeable and absolute royalty in the world of disposable vapes. If one is on the dock charging, the other would provide the same sort of satisfaction without missing a beat.

But the world's first 3D curved screen does not outweigh an extra power mode and better airflow control, making the Geek Bar SkyView the winner.
