UT Bar Specifications

Disposable vapes are a picture of simplicity. They are draw activated and there is no fire button to push. They are perfect for discrete MTL vaping, you simply inhale. Even a seasoned user of a refillable vape pod kit will find use for a disposable vape when traveling or attending an event. They hold far more eliquid and of course are disposable.

In the case of the UT Bar, it has one third the capacity of a bottle of nic salts and has many times the capacity of a typical refillable vape pod kit with a 2ml pod capacity. For example, stalwart devices like the Novo series or UWell Caliburn vape pod kits hold approximately 2ml. A Juul pod holds a mere 0.7ml, and it would take fourteen to equal the capacity of one UT Bar. Even the largest vape mod and vape tank, which burns through lower nicotine freebase ejuice at a prodigious rate due to their higher wattage, does not hold as much as a disposable.  

Battery Life and Puff Count

Powered by a 500mAh battery, you should be able to get a day or more of vaping from an UT Bar. The indicator light will keep you apprised of when the UT Bar needs to be recharged. With a USB-C type port, this does not take very long.  

If 500mAh sounds a bit small, keep in mind that this is a low wattage device with a relatively high resistance coil. The smaller battery also saves space and is how the UT Bar manages to have such an impressive capacity with a small footprint.

It does not take much battery juice to burn the juice, which is one reason the puff count is so high. The 50mg strength nicotine salts provide ample satisfaction for most adult vapers, and does not require much vapor to perform as advertised. 

This is a disposable device and does not have chipset or the features of a vape mod. The actual voltage and current a battery can supply will depend on its state of charge, the temperature, age, and the load it's connected to (among other things). The UT Bar has safety features but is not a “regulated” battery, which means the battery supplies less voltage and current when it's low.

The indicator light takes out much of the guess work but if a weak tasting puff is another sure sign that the battery is running low. Puff counts can vary depending on how long your average inhale is. Longer drags use more eliquid and battery power.

One interesting innovation is the juice indicator light. This takes out a lot of the guesswork and will change colors from white to orange or red. If the juice indicator light is red, it is time to get a fresh UT BAR.

UT Bar Features

Like most disposable vapes, and many refillable pod kits designed for nic salts, there is no airflow control. This not a huge deal for the vast majority of disposable vape users. It is not a device designed for vapor production. In fact, with a potent salt nic formula, excess vapor is often detrimental. Vaping the UT Bar

1. Pull the Device from the box and remove the plastic wrapper. Next remove the plug from the mouthpiece, and tape from the bottom of the device.
2. The device will arrive pre-charged, and the indicator light will show you how much charge it has. You can top off your UT Bar using a type-C charging cable. The indicator light will turn white when 50-100% charged. Unplug the device before hitting it.
3. Draw lightly to get a feel for how robust the hit is and vapor production. With a nicotine strength of 50mg, giant puffs are not what the UT Bar is all about. But its vapor production is roughly equivalent to pod starter kit, or a rival disposable vape.

The Triple Berries Ice UT Bar is a classic mixed berry and ice disposable vape flavor.  The inhale provides a hint of coolness to leaven tart and sweet berry notes. There is even a hint of cherry and citrus in this fruit medley. The ice flavor is not overwhelming but notable on exhale.

IN SUMMARY

The UT Bar is compact but sturdy. The new matte finish shell is similar to the Flum Pebbles and supplies a better grip than the slick plastic shell of the Flum Float.

Disposable vapes are a mature technology and the draw is perfect for a mouth-to-lung (MTL) nic salt vape. The UT Bar will shut down before overly long draws tax the battery and coil.  

If you are looking for an icy menthol free disposable, you are barking up the wrong tree with many of the flavors. But the flavor quality of a UT BAR is good that the coolness is not distracting.
