Geek Bar Pulse versus Prime Plus 26000

The Geek Bar Pulse is one of the hottest devices in vaping, but you can find similar features on some worthy competitors. If you are looking for an overview on the Geek Bar Pulse, check out our Geek Bar Pulse collection. We also have the most comprehensive review you will find anywhere with our Best Geek Bar Pulse flavors review.

Geek Bar Pulse versus Prime Plus 26000

If you are interested in finding a viable alternative that is not a Geek Bar clone or fake Geek Bar, you have come to the right place. The Prime Plus 26000 is a big upgrade over its predecessor the Prime Bar 8000 and is packed with features. Both the Geek Bar and Prime Vape disposables have two vaping modes, an LED screen, dual mesh coils, draw-activation, and USB-C charging. The Prime Plus 26000 Collection has some unique and delightful salt nic flavors to choose from.

Disposable Vape Flavors

Both devices are sold in flavor profile that adult vapers prefer and are ready to use upon arrival. There are some technical differences though. And empirically these shake out in favor of the challenger from Prime. Both devices have great options for adult vapers when compared to the prefilled vape pod kits sold by the tobacco industry. They are limited to fauxbacco fake tobacco flavors that are every bit as contrived as Sour Apple Blow Pop.

Vaper preferences flavors

They just happen to be flavors that adult vapers are not as interested, and frankly no one is much interested in considering that there are countless consumables from kombucha to hard seltzers and breath mints using artificial flavor profiles similar to disposable vapes and certainly no surfeit of "flue-cured Virginia Tobacco" flavored beverages.

Disposable Vapes Value

There is also no question that the 16ml Geek Bar Pulse and 20ml Prime Plus 26000 offer a lot of value. Nic salts are sold in 30ml. We are getting close to disposables that offer a whole bottle inside. It is unfortunate that the Deeming Rule and regulatory capture by the tobacco industry and vape prohibitionist groups like the Orwellian-named Truth Initiative have restricted innovation in vaping. Otherwise, we would have locking and geofenced vapes with age verification. But at least we still have price performance. The cost difference between the tobacco-only prefilled kits of Big Tobacco and disposable vapes is mammoth. When you look at the comparative price performance and lack of compelling flavor choices for adult vapers, it is easy to see why vape flavor bans increase cigarette sales.

Geek Bar Pulse versus Prime Plus 26000

If you are shopping for full flavor, satisfaction, and are unable or unwilling to fill your own pod kit, the Geek Bar Pulse and Prime Pulse will both make you happy. Each product has outstanding vapor production and delivers a satisfying vaping experience. Both Geek Bar and Prime Vapes have provided adjustable airflow as well. But this is where you find the first discrepancy in performance.

Airflow Control

The Geek Bar Pulse uses an airflow switch that is linked to the vaping modes. To use Pulse Mode, you have no choice but to use the looser airflow. Regular Mode is tied to the more restrictive airflow profile. The difference is the number of holes bored into the plastic switch.

The Prime Plus 26000 has something new for most disposable vapes and that is a button. Yes, it is still draw activated. The button on the face of the device has a nice clicky feel and allows you to toggle between modes and lock the device. That both the Geek Bar Pulse and Prime Plus 26000 have an "off" feature is a great.

Airflow is controlled independently, with a switch on the base. This is just a small feature but gives adult vapers more control of their vaping experience.

Dual Modes

As described above, the Prime Plus is a bit more sophisticated when it comes to switching modes and has more control over airflow. But what is underneath the hood matters too. The Prime Plus 26000 is the more powerful device and produces more vapor in both modes. The difference in power is 14-watts in regular and 22-watts in boost versus 10-watts and 20-watts for the Geek Bar Pulse.

With a greater capacity, the Prime Plus 26000 promises a higher puff count as well. 26,000 versus 15,000 in theory, although longer draws will certainly make such lofty numbers unattainable. The difference is 7,500 versus 14,000 when the power is turned up. Even if these numbers seem fanciful at best, keep in mind that the Prime Plus 26000 does hold an extra 4ml of e-liquid. That is probably the best measure for longevity and the dual coil resistances of these two devices is nearly identical, even if the output is not.

One of the most important measures of user-friendly disposable vape performance is battery size. The Prime Plus has the much larger battery. This means more time between charges. Interesting, the 200mAh difference is close to the total battery capacity of a Juul or an original Puff Bar stick style disposable.

Full Size Display

The use of displays in disposable vapes was necessitated when they morphed into devices for adult vapers that could last a week or more and required multiple charges.

The number of puffs and features being packed into disposable vapes is quite impressive. These are now workaday devices and designed for adult vapers. They are significantly less expensive to operate than a prefilled pod kit from the tobacco industry and are also available in the flavors that adults prefer.

Their technological edge is simply huge. What had been an industry standard single output pushed through a coil around 1.0ohms has been replaced with dual coils and features that are beginning to rival the best refillable vape pod kits.

Puff Counts

The Prime Plus 26000 has a pair of modes. Regular mode is said to extract a puff count of 26,000 from 20ml of nic salt e-liquid. A bottle of nic salts is 30ml. A Juul pod holds 0.7ml. It is easy to see where the value proposition comes in. This regular mode churns out an impressive 14-watts. This is more than some refillable pod kits, the original UWell Caliburn was 11-watts for reference.

In the boosted mode, accessed with the push of a button, screen graphics change, output reaches 22-watts, and the puff count dips to approximately 14,000. The beefy 850mAh battery, slightly larger than most Smok Novo models, is necessary to provide a day of vaping in this fiery mode.

With a nicotine strength of 50mg, Regular Mode provides more than sufficient performance for most adult vapers. There is adjustable air flow as well, providing even more control. As the modes are actuated by a button rather than a switch that controls both mode and airflow, you have more flexibility than dual mode vapes like the Geek Bar Pulse. Far from a clone, Prime Bar has great features and flavors.

Vaping the Prime Plus 26000 versus the Geek Bar Pulse

Full flavor is the order of the day with dual mesh coils but there are a few notable differences in the user experience. The Prime Plus 26000 is a bit larger than the Geek Bar Pulse, at 96mm versus about 83mm. The attention to detail is great on but only the Geek Bar has a bite friendly mouthpiece. While still hard, it is clearly a more pliable material than the hard plastic on the side.

Anyone who is wed to various rocket inspired graphics will find the Prime Pulse lacking, although it certainly has a colorful and easy to read display. Rather than a rocket or missile, it is a wattage display that informs you what mode you are in. It also offers both a chart and a percentage for e-liquid and battery life.

Both can be recharged from a low battery level with USB-C recharging, so it is an even split there. The click of the boost mode button is pretty satisfying though as it results in an instant change in performance. Puffs are thicker with dense flavor and vapor production when the Pulse and Plus 26000 are in their more powerful modes. Frankly, the other does not need to finish his day with blast after blast of DL, 20 plus watt nic salt hits but these disposable vape designs with impressive performance.

Prime Plus 26000 versus Geek Bar Flavors

There is a Geek Bar Frozen Edition to contend with and a series based on zodiac symbols. We review every option here: The Best Geek Bar Pulse Flavors. For reference, we have included the complete collection of Prime Plus 26000 flavor options below. There are a couple mysterious names, but the deliver fruity flavor as advertised.

Apple Banana Strawberry Prime Plus 26000

Experience a tropical medley of crisp apple, ripe banana, and luscious strawberry flavors, each one bursting with natural sweetness and refreshing taste. Let the vibrant blend transport you to a sun-soaked paradise with every bite. The smoothness of the banana and juicy apple notes really benefit from the kick of strawberry.

Apple Peach Strawberry Prime Plus 26000

Indulge in the juicy blend of crisp apple and succulent peach, perfectly complemented by the sweet, delightful taste of ripe strawberry. This harmonious combination offers a refreshing and satisfying experience for your taste buds.

Apple Watermelon Prime Plus 26000

Refresh your palate with the crisp apple and juicy watermelon mix, a delightful blend that combines the sweetness of ripe watermelon with the tartness of fresh apples. It tastes like you would expect, which is perfect if you like apple or watermelon vapes.

Blood Moon Prime Plus 26000

Tropical mango, peach and citrus flavors are apparently a blood moon. This is a great combination, however. The blood orange aspect subtle as mango and peach are very assertive flavors. But there is a hint of sweet orange which adds balance.

Blueberry Raspberry Lemon Prime Plus 26000

Blueberry and red raspberry flavors are delightful here. The flavors are a bit more authentic than a comparable blue razz lemon.

Cherry Peach Icy Prime Plus 26000

A big icy finish is key to this combination of ripe peach and bold cherry flavors. It will provide plenty of coolness and a tart cherry finish to savor.

Energy Prime Plus 26000

Inspired by the refreshing flavors of a popular energy drink, there is an invigorating and effervescent edge to this surprisingly delightful flavor.

Magic Moon Prime Plus 26000

This is a mixed melon flavor with cantaloupe notes and hints of watermelon as well.

Peach Mango Watermelon Prime Plus 26000

Peach, juicy mango, and refreshing watermelon notes are a plenty. The use of mango helps cut through the saccharine sweetness of watermelon and the strong notes of peach.

Peach Pear Prime Plus 26000

Pear is a smooth flavor with ripe notes that really augment a strong peach essence.

Pineapple Mango Prime Plus 26000

Pineapple has such a distinct flavor in nic salts. It can be very sweet and distinct. Mango operates at a lower level of sweetness and more ripe flavors making for a great combination.

Watermelon Berry Icy

An ice bomb of chill helps make this an extremely compelling combination of a classic mixed berry medley flavor and refreshing watermelon confection notes.

Yummy Bear Prime Plus 26000

This one is pure nostalgia. Sweet and refreshing with the outstanding and tart notes of a soft confection that happened to be shaped like a bear.

Z Prime Plus 26000

The last letter in the alphabet tells you absolutely nothing about what this flavor is, although naming a product Prime Plus is an uphill run for attention too. The actual flavors are strawberry, peach, and mango. This is a fantastic combination with the peachy notes tamped down by the impressive mango and strawberry blend.

Our Verdict: Geek Bar Pulse versus Prime Plus 26000

In reductionist terms, the Prime Plus 26000 has the Geek Bar Pulse covered. The product is bullet proof in terms of reliability. But when you have devices with so many puffs on tap you can't go wrong. In this case it comes down to flavor preferences.

While both have fruity options, customers really have shown an affinity for flavors like Meta Moon, Sour Apple Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Miami Mint, and Fcukin Fab from Geek Bar. Prime Vapes has their own collection of blackberry, cantaloupe, cherry, strawberry mango, and watermelon ice flavor on tap.

The reason Mi-Pod carries such a wide selection of disposable vapes is because of this impressive overlap in popular flavor profiles.

The sophistication of disposable vapes makes them a great choice for adult vapers looking for an easy to use, discrete and satisfying experience. With longer lasting devices like Geek Bar Pulse and Prime Bar Pulse 26000, the expense of using a disposable compared to a refillable has been cut while their performance and value edge over gas station pod kits from Big Tobacco further expanded.
