Effective immediately your favorite BC5000 flavors and devices will be available under a new name…EBDesign…just as soon as they can get the new boxes printed.

There is a little-known vape company named VPR Brands that (among other things) sells a 510-cart vaporizer named ELF. VPR had its Trademarks in effect and used its ELF branding in conjunction with their device as early as 2017.  VPR’s CEO, Kevin Frija, suggested Elf Bar Disposables were hurting VPR Brands ELF sales.

VPR was able to demonstrate through trademark filings that they have the legal right to the name ELF, and that Elf Bar Disposables were confusing VPR’s ELF customers. Judge Cannon from the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida issued an Order granting VPR’s motion for a preliminary injunction in the ongoing trademark infringement dispute over the "Elf" name. As a result, Shenzhen Weiboli and all their affiliates (Master Distributors, Resellers, and Retailers) can no longer advertise, market, or sell the BC500’s under its old pointy-eared, tiny-person related brand name.

What is Next for the BC5000?

It will take a couple weeks for the company formerly known as Elf Bar (now EBDesign) to pump out new BC5000 vapes with the new EBDesign name, update the literature and boxes and ship them to the US.

In the meantime, we are working on a quick reference chart linking from your favorite BC5000 flavors to the corresponding Lost Mary or Funky Republic disposable. They are all manufactured by Shenzhen Weiboli Technology and use the same juice and flavors as the BC5000s.

If you see your favorite BC5000 flavor in one of those other Shenzhen Weiboli collections, it will probably taste better through one of the new devices than your BC5000. The Lost Mary OS5000 was a flavor upgrade from the BC5000. The Lost Mary MO5000 improved on the OS5000, and Funky Republic vape line is amazing on its own. These are newer technology, use better mesh coils, and treat the flavors better.
