We have reviewed the Geek Bar Pulse already but here is a quick overview. It is an interesting device. It has a nicely textured clear exterior and excellent mouthpiece.
The LED screen is impressively bright and clear. It includes animations of a rocket ship when you are in the mighty Pulse Mode. It also provides real-time e-liquid and battery life indicators.
The core of the device is the coil. It is a dual-mode coil which in conjunction with the Geek Bar's chipset, allows for two power settings. Pulse Mode is a 20-watts mode and quite powerful for a 5 percent nicotine strength disposable. Regular mode is more typical of disposable vapes. In the regular mode, you can expect better battery life. The 15,000 puff count is probably optimistic but it is far more efficient because 10-watts is burning a lot less juice than 20.

But the Geek Bar Pulse's popularity owes as much to its technology as its flavors so far, with few options straying too far from the popular fruit-menthol fusion formula.
But as we should have noted in December, there are more than five zodiac signs. It was inevitable that the rest of the constellations would soon receive a shout-out.
Here are the new seven Geek Bar Pulse Flavors. In every case, the flavor can be enjoyed in both Regular Mode and Pulse Mode. Regular mode is extremely efficient, good for an estimated 15,000 puff count according to the manufacturer. Pulse Mode is a hard-hitting 20-watt setting that doubles vapor, augments flavor, but also reduces the battery life and puff count.
Clearly, many vapers are seeking out these powerful disposable vapes with a multiple power modes and adjustable airflow. The astrological names are not prominent on the packaging, although the device itself features both the constellation and the flavor name. Whether this was a good idea across the board will be discussed a bit more below.

This is a sunny and nostalgic flavor. Inspired by the height of summer indulgence, it is fitting the full name of this creat vape is the Leo Orange Cream Geek Bar Pulse. This zodiac lion is the king of the jungle, and absolutely exploded with flavor in Pulse Mode.
Berry Bliss Geek Bar Pulse
It is around here that the Geek Bar Pulse zodiac naming convention goes a bit haywire.
On paper, you have a classic mixed berry vape and it is excellent. The Berry Bliss Geek Bar Pulse flavored to taste like a combination of blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, cherry and mint. It is simply a great berry medley flavor with a lot of character.
Unfortunately, with the device in hand you may notice an unwelcome word right above "Berry Bliss". That word is "Cancer". To be clear, they are clearly referring to the zodiac crab. But its not a welcome interloper for this former smoker who switched to vaping eight years ago.
The unfortunately named Cancer Berry Bliss Geek Bar Pulse unleashes familiar berry medley notes, all these flavors are strong enough to stand on their own. It is easy to be crabby about a vape that included the word cancer in its name but this is a flavor that adult vapers will not want to miss.
Crazy Melon Geek Bar Pulse
The Virgo zodiac sign is synonymous with orderliness and organization. This makes the name Virgo Crazy Melon Pulse Bar seem to be a contradiction in terms. The flavor though is predictable, pristine, and well-executed. It is a cantaloupe dominated flavor, truth be told who nobody is clamoring for an actual honeydew melon, with an almost natural fruity sweetness. Ripe notes abound, making this a great melon nic salt vape that adult vapers are certain to enjoy. It is not all that crazy of flavor but it is delicious.
Grape Lemon Geek Bar Pulse
The zodiac symbol for Gemini is the Twin. Not all twins are identical obviously, as the Gemini Grape Lemon Geek Bar Pulse juxtaposes a pair of popular vape flavors that are quite different in character. Cool grape is always a crowd favorite, while lemon seems more frequently an additive flavor rather than a standalone vape. Combined, the intense punch of grape is cut through with a lemon loaded blast.
Our Verdict
The novelty of smart vapes with boosted modes is wearing off and appears this may simply be the industry norm. This means the Geek Bar Pulse is going to face tougher competition going forward. The Lost Mary MT15000 in particular will pose a serious challenge for the adult vapers dollar.
With this is in mind, the new Geek Bar Pulse flavors deliver. The Grape Lemon is particularly strong, as is the unique Orange Cream. It is a bit more difficult to formulate for a device that needs to deliver at two totally different power levels, but none of these flavors suffer for it.
Geek Bar also now has three of their pop, the confectionary type not soda, vapes. These are becoming a bit of a trademark at this point. OMG Pop has a silly name but might be the best of the bunch.
