Fume Unlimited vs Fume Infinity Vapes
The two devices look the same at first glance. They are about the size of two disposable lighters taped together. They are both wrapped in the same pastel soft plastic.
The significant difference is that the Fume Infinity has a much larger battery (1500mAh) and less vape juice (3500 puffs). The Fume Unlimited has a small 400mAh rechargeable battery that must be recharged about 4x before all the 7000 puffs of vape juice will be used up.
The cost of both devices is about the same, so you are paying for either more vape juice (Unlimited) or more battery (Infinity).
Fume Infinity and Unlimited Similarities
- They are both fully wrapped in closed systems. Nothing to fall off or break.
- No way to refill them.
- Both have a Nicotine strength of 50mg (5%).
- They have identical bodies and drip tips.
- Both have a lot of flavors to choose from.
- Both have smooth, easy-grip wrapping.
- Both have a similar color profile of bright pastels.

What Does That Mean for Vapers?
The two devices hit very similarly so what it comes down to is rather or not you are willing to recharge the disposable.
Fume Infinity - If you prefer to never recharge your device, the Infinity comes with a whopping 1500mAh battery large enough to finish all the 12mls of vape juice without ever recharging it. That is good because there is no way to recharge it anyway. Fume guarantees that the battery will outlast the juice. So, you pay a premium for that massive battery in cost and room for juice. It is only able to produce 3500 puffs in one go but due to the larger battery and airflow, you can get stronger puffs from the Infinity. The Infinity gives you that 10% more flavor when you hit it hard, but it comes at the cost of ½ as many puffs for the same price as the Unlimited which provides 7000 slightly weaker puffs.
Fume Unlimited - On the other hand, if you are not averse to recharging a disposable occasionally, and you take average sized puffs, you can save some money on vape juice. The Unlimited with its much smaller rechargeable battery will require about four recharges before you will have finished all 14ml of vape juice. In exchange, you get 7000 (twice as many puffs) for about the same price as an Infinity. On the downside, the smaller battery supplies slightly weaker puffs than the Infinity, but that is only important if you hit like a beast.
Fume Stress Test
To really get into the flavor profile and durability of the device I like to take several of the hardest puffs the device will allow in a row to see if stressing the device changes the flavor, makes it hot, or produces any other unexpected result. I usually throw both devices on the ground to see which takes a pounding best. Since these two devices have the same exact body, it seemed like a waste of two good vapes to destroy them.
Unlimited – With the stress of an average puff, it provided a smooth tight draw. I could tell it was not going to have the horsepower to really cook the juice when I started hotboxing it. It already felt like the battery was already giving me everything it had with a normal strength puff.
I tried puffing it again with attitude. I pulled as hard as I could about ten times back-to-back to see if I could heat the device up or in any way overtax its system. I took the longest, hardest puffs the device would allow. Other than my getting a little lightheaded nothing bad happened with the disposable.
The device keeps you in check. It has a slightly more limited airflow than the Infinity and a weaker battery, so the design of the device limits the puff to an average-sized draw. You can’t pull through more air than the device will allow, and the battery just isn’t going to heat up. I tried the Infinity in-between each Unlimited session for comparison.
Infinity – The airflow is not as tight as the Unlimited and the battery seems to be more powerful. When I hit this device as hard as I could, it hit back. I could make the juice crackle and pop and smell a little burnt with enough work. The Infinity supplies a perfect puff the same as the Unlimited did for someone who takes average-sized puffs.
This wasn’t a “normal” use test so I hotboxed it as hard as I could and got about seven puffs in before I had to sit down. The battery power coupled with more airflow allowed me to tweak out stronger puffs than the unit was designed for.
This means if you need a bigger stronger hit, this device will give it to you (with effort). This contrasts with the Unlimited with its reduced airflow and smaller battery which makes its puffs somewhat, er, limited.
Fume Flavors in Both Devices
I picked a few flavors that both devices have in common to provide a side-by-side comparison of how each disposable approaches its juice flavor palate.
Unlimited flavors were good. There are a few standout flavors, and the device gives a smooth measured draw. Infinity had a little more airflow, so it was possible to get a slightly stronger puff (and more flavor) by drawing harder.
Banana Ice Fume
Sweet banana and cool mint. The banana flavor is rather good, but the ice overwhelms it to the point it should have been called ice with a little banana. It tastes fine and I enjoy vaping them both. The Infinity is a little stronger hitting, but for this overwhelming ice the lighter puff from the Banana Ice Fume Unlimited pairs better according to the finished puff.
Black Ice Fume
There is a medium to a large amount of ice in the Black Ice Fume Infinity and Unlimited. It is not sweet but is flavorful. It is not minty, but it is iced. The blackberry flavor is not overly sweet so it could be vaped all day.
Blueberry Mint Fume
Blue Razz meets Cool Mint in the Blueberry Mint Fume Unlimited vape and Infinity vape. Sweet, yet tart fruit flavor with a cool minty finish. If you like iced blueberries, you will like this flavor from either device.
Cotton Candy Fume
The Fume Unlimited Cotton Candy tastes like fruit-flavored cotton candy. I see how they tried to accurately reproduce the flavor of cotton candy by not going overboard with the ice or candy flavor. This is one time it would be okay to go sweeter. I was surprised by how savory the taste was rather than the sweet I expected from a candy-flavored vape
Grape Ice Fume
The grape flavor is not a sweet green grape but rather a more sophisticated wine grape flavor wrapped in a healthy dose of ice. The Grape Ice Fume Infinity flavor will remind you of other Grape Ices. It has the same taste, but maybe you want the Grape Ice Fume Unlimited with 7000 puffs in place of your old vape?
Lush Ice Fume
Sweet and bold watermelon with an icy finish. I liked this flavor in both the Lush Ice Fume Unlimited and Infinity collections, but the Lush Ice Fume Infinity provided just a tad more pop, and it was welcome to be able to taste more of the sweet watermelon.
Mint Ice Fume
A mentholated and minty iced vape. Cool and refreshing, minty, but not overpowering. It was just the right amount of minty goodness from the Mint Ice Fume Infinity, in this case, I did not want more flavor so the 10% extra horsepower available in the Infinity would be wasted for twice the price per puff. I'd recommend going with the Mint Ice Fume Unlimited for the longevity.
Peach Ice Fume
Both the Peach Ice Fume Unlimited and Infinity are good-tasting peach ice disposables. Not surprising since it is they are filled with the same vape juice in two distinct types of devices. You taste sweet peaches strongly and a medium amount of ice. As usual, they taste identical unless you try to pull harder to get more flavor. Then the Fume Unlimited's restricted airflow limits the amount of extra air you can pull through, and the Peach Ice Fume Infinity will supply about 10% more flavor if you are willing to work for it.
Pina Colada Fume
Coconut and pineapple flavors. A bit more pineapple in the mix makes it more of a pineapple iced flavor than a pina colada. It is equally good -tasting with both the Pina Colada Fume Infinity and the Unlimited. I like the flavor and could vape it all day.
Purple Rain Fume
The Purple Rain Fume Unlimited and Infinity have a semi-sweet yet tart Raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry mixture. I did not care for this flavor in either disposable. There is so little sweetness or ice that it provides a tart taste instead of anything I had hoped for. If you are a vaper that stays away from sweeter vapes, this one might be for you.
Rainbow Candy Fume
I can taste the rainbow in this vape. Either device is equally tasty. This is a sweet candied fruit vape with medium ice. It is very tasty, and I would vape this all day in either the Rainbow Candy Fume Unlimited or Infinity.
Strawberry Mango Fume
Fresh strawberry meets sweet mango. The two flavors combine so well that they seem to blend into a new sweet and slightly tart fruit flavor. Sometimes these less known flavor combinations (while exact) may not taste as well as expected when combined. This was the opposite. I expected a weird pairing and instead very much like this new Strawberry Mango Fume Unlimited flavor. This was a good pairing in both devices.
Strawberry Watermelon Fume
Fresh and fruity strawberries meet a sweet watermelon. If the Strawberry Mango Fume was a good pairing, the Strawberry Watermelon Fume Unlimited vape provides a perfect pairing. So sweet and tasty. The two fruit flavors blend wonderfully together. There is a medium amount of ice that compliments the fruit flavors well. Not overpowering, but enough to make the fruit flavors pop.
Tropical Punch Fume
Seems like you can taste hints of coconut, watermelon, mixed berry, mango, pineapple, and guava in the Tropical Punch Fume Unlimited. It is a low-ice tropical fruit-flavored vape. It is neither sweet nor icy, so I thought it could have been much tastier. People that cannot do ice and do not like overly sweet vapes will enjoy Tropical Punch Fume Infinity or Unlimited.
Flavors Only Available in Fume Infinity
Blue Razz Fume Infinity provides a standard blue razz flavor. Not my favorite fruit vape that Fume has to offer.
Blueberry CC Fume Infinity is a blueberry vape with very little "ice". Not too sweet but is still a little fruity, which was surprising because it is supposed to be a cotton candy disposable vape. Good vape for ice-free vapers that don’t like overly sweet vapes.
Coffee Tobacco Fume Infinity was a vape team favorite. The coffee compliments the tobacco exactly right. This is going to be an extremely popular flavor. I am buying four as soon as they are available in inventory.
Cuban Tobacco Fume Infinity is a great classic Cuban tobacco taste. Perfect for those transitioning to vaping. I tasted tobacco and a slight amount of maybe coconut. Whatever it is it totally works. This is a great-tasting tobacco.
Desert Breeze Fume Infinity has a flowery and perfumy mix with berry flavors. I didn’t care for the smell it produced. The packaging says that it is a mix of blackberry, aloe and mint, which explains the perfumy smell that is often in blackberry disposable vapes.
Double Apple Fume Infinity is a mostly sour apple with not much ice. Not my favorite, but if you like a sour unsweetened, low-iced apple then you are going to love this flavor.
Gummy Bears Fume Infinity has a perfume smell to it which is odd for a candied fruit vape flavor. I believe they were going for the product’s namesake but missed the mark. I expected it to taste like candied fruit at least.
Kiwi Strawberry Fume Infinity is a good-tasting Kiwi Strawberry. I expect it to be a bestseller as well. It is well-balanced, sweet, and tasty.
Lychee Ice Fume Infinity is a straightforward lychee and ice disposable vape flavor. If you enjoy a good Lychee Ice, you will enjoy this Fume vape.
Mango Ice Fume Infinity has a sweet, juicy authentic mango flavor with an icy finish. A good-tasting iced mango.
Raspberry Watermelon Fume Infinity is a sweet, icy fruit flavor. I liked this one very much. The raspberry gives it a unique flavor you don’t come across often. It is well balanced with ice and sweetness.
Strawberry Banana Fume Infinity – Fresh strawberry with slightly sweet banana. This is a good tasting vape I would carry around all day.
Unicorn Fume Infinity – I think they were going for unicorn milk flavor. It is like a weaker version of unicorn milk.
Flavors Unique to the Fume Unlimited
Strawberry Fume Unlimited has the taste of a quality strawberry jam. I loved it.
Melon Ice Fume Unlimited has the taste of honeydew and cantaloupe melons with a crisp minty finish. Another great flavored vape.
Pineapple Fume Unlimited has a crisp authentic-tasting pineapple. Reminds me of the Vaal Max Pineapple which is a real compliment.
Top Fume Flavors
I lost count of how many Fume flavors I vaped for this comparison. A few flavors were so good that I feel they deserve special mention.
- Infinity - Coffee Tobacco
- Infinity - Raspberry Watermelon
- Infinity - Strawberry Banana
- Unlimited – Melon Ice
- Unlimited – Strawberry
Both Fume collections are good little vapes. The flavors were all as expected, tasting as they should according to their names. The Fume Infinity was able to hit about 10% harder with a hard enough draw. Due to the limited airflow in the Fume Unlimited, no matter how much harder you puff, it cannot produce more vapor.
If you vape a few puffs from a Fume Unlimited, and it is the right strength for you, then you will love the device that supplies 7000 puffs for a reasonable price. On the other hand, if you hit hard and are willing to pay the same amount for the 10% added strength, the 3500 puff Fume Infinity will make you happy.
