RAZ DC25000 Disposable Vape

The naming convention of the RAZ DC25000 disposable vape is straightforward. "DC" stands for dual premium mesh coil. "25,000" represents the estimated puff count in regular mode.

This is a feature laden device that has a lot more to offer than two power modes. The RAZ DC25000 disposable vape is much more impressive in person than in pictures. The mouthpiece is basically identical to the RAZ TN9000, but the draw-characteristics are improved. More on that later.

This device has a pair of control interfaces and looks not unlike a small mod with the size of its screen. This is a disposable vape that includes overcharge protection. The ability to dim the screen and switch modes separately from the airflow is greatly appreciated. And all these features aside, if ease of use is the most important factor on your vaping journey it is still draw-activated and arrives precharged.

RAZ DC25000 Mega HD Screen

Most of the new RAZ disposable vape device's features are represented on the Mega-HD screen. But in another example of what is old is new again, it does have a button. Buttons have been a no-go for most inexpensive refillable pod kits, gas station pod kits and disposable vape for a decade. On some rival disposable vapes you can access the boost/turbo /pulse by sliding a switch on the bottom. The Orion Bar 10000 was one of the first, and the RAZ TN9000 had this feature. The switch also had air hole bored into it so you could control airflow.

The RAZ DC25000 has this style airflow control but a button on the side allows you to toggle between Boost Mode and Regular Mode. You can tell what mode you are in by the screen. Boost Mode is 24-watts and regular mode is 12-watts, and these wattage strengths are clearly displayed on the Mega HD Screen. However, the powerful Boosted vaping experience will leave little question about which setting you have chosen. Unfortunately, if puff count is your preferred performance metric Boost will decrease quantity compared to the regular setting.

The actual e-liquid indicator and battery indicator are very similar to the displays on the original RAZ TN9000.

Vape Animations and Dark Mode

After vaping in Boost Mode, bizarre flame tiger animations appear. Fairly cool flame animations are generated in Regular Mode. They are some of the more impressive vape animations on the market.

This interactive feature is gaining in popularity but the RAZ DC25000 has another great idea. You can hold down the mode button and the screen will go into dark mode.

The very concept of "dark modes" is overdue. Refillable devices often offered multiple dark modes settings for convenience. In the case of the RAZ DC25000 disposable vape, it just dims the display. There is no black-out setting.

Reducing the brightness reduces battery drain by reducing the energy used by the Mega HD screen. This is a bigger concern than you might imagine, due to the creative and prolonged vape animations and the sheer size of the MEGA HD screen.

Dark Mode is also great if you are vaping in the dark, driving, or possible on a walk, and do not require flaming tiger or swirling inferno graphics. Or you may just be the kind of person who does not need a screen at all, except to occasionally check the battery life and e-liquid indicators.

The display is excellent and legible. It is nice that the wattage is displayed, if only reference as it cannot be controlled like the Lost Mary MO25000. The same clear e-liquid and battery animations as the TN9000.

RAZ DC25000 Performance

An 800mAh long lasting battery with USB type-C charging is used to power the RAZ DC25000. This is a huge battery size compared to prefilled vape pod kits. An improved dual mode coil which is the core of this powerful disposable vape device. This is the beating heart of this dual mode device.

Unlike the Geek Bar Pulse and several other rivals, the wattage control is separate from the airflow control, which is the usual switch on the bottom. There is no "off" like the Geek Bar Pulse. It simply controls the air being pulled through the device with a pair of settings.

Regular mode is good for an estimated 25,000 puffs and runs at 12-watts. Basically, it makes the RAZ DC25000 a satisfying if bog-standard disposable vape in terms of output. The Boost Mode doubles power, with a corresponding reduction of puff count to around 12,000. It also chews up the battery faster. For most adult vapers, the 50mg strength and 12-watt power output was more than sufficient. In fact, the 50mg was largely a response to the lack of battery power and therefore useful wattage available in 2016 vape pens.

But clearly there is a demand for powerful and long-lasting disposable vapes. The RAZ DC25000, as is easily gathered from its name, delivers this sort of performance. It is a no compromises design.

Vaping the RAZ DC25000

The RAZ DC25000 has a lot of moving pieces compared to a Lost Mary OS5000 or a simpler disposable vape design. The addition of both a button and a switch do not detract from the user-experience. Our Verdict

The RAZ DC25000 Disposable Vape has an ergonomic design, long lasting battery, 50mg nicotine strength, and multitude of great vape flavor options. It even has a genuine leather inset. It was designed to provide accessible performance to busy people anytime. It has the full suite of display information, making it a Smart Vape. The E-liquid indicator graphic is unchanged from the original RAZ TN9000.

Vaping satisfaction is enhanced with a pair of power modes and the screen displays the wattage output for each. It is a phenomenal portable solution for adult vapers on the go. The necessity of such a large screen and intricate graphics can be debated but this is the first disposable that allows you to dim them, if not shut them down entirely.

It is a competitive market, and the competition is steep. The RAZ DC25000 has all the right moves, although a few of the more unique flavors found in the TN9000 like Night Crawler, Graham Twist, Cactus Jack, Apple Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Pie Frosting would be appreciated.
