Blue Rancher has a sour confection intensity that stands out in what is one of the most crowded flavor spaces in the industry. 

2. Raspberry Jam

Raspberry Jam takes raspberry in a deeper red raspberry flavor. It attempts, and with great success, mimics the tart character and sweet character of red raspberry preserves. No one is going to mistake this flavor with the jam that your aunt canned for in the fall of 2020 to show off her new at-home hobby. But it is still an amazing flavor.

3. Sour Straws

Sour Straws is one of several new and sour strawberry flavors to hit the market recently. The sourness does a great job of hiding the artificial edge of strawberry flavor. This is not a vaping exclusive issue, artificial strawberry is mad popular in myriad consumables but has a certain sweet bite. Sour notes are a great way to mitigate that and bring the berry notes to the forefront.

Banana usually is paired with ice to cut down the prominence of certain artificial flavor elements- although banana experts will claim that modern artificial banana was modeled off of the nearly extinct Gros Michel cultivar and is a fairly realistic depiction of 1950s bananas. That is neither here nor there in 2026. This banana flavor wisely mimics the slower and softer banana flavors found in soft, salt-water confections. Coupled with a blast of ice for balance, this is a trip down nostalgia lane rather than memory lane. As old as the author is, banana taffy was certainly not some beloved staple even 30-35 years ago. Other than the prepackaged laughable variety of course.
