Some adult vapers want a compact pod. Others want a full-size tank, replaceable batteries, and more control over their setup. The new Vaporesso Armour Octa Kit at Mi-Pod belongs firmly in that second category.

With a rugged design and a familiar mod-and-tank format, the Armour Octa gives experienced users another option in Vaporesso’s Armour lineup. Here’s what to know before choosing your kit.

Armour Octa Specifications at a Glance

A Rugged Mod with Practical Protection

Durability is a major focus of the Octa. Vaporesso lists IP68 and IP69K protection, along with drop testing from 1.2 meters at 26 angles. The design also includes a protective cage structure, TPU protection, and a covered charging port.

These are manufacturer-reported ratings and test results that apply to the mod only, under standardized laboratory conditions. They do not make the entire assembled kit damage-proof.

For shoppers comparing devices, that distinction matters: the tank and glass remain separate components to care for.

iTank T and GTi Dual Mesh Coils

The included iTank T pairs a refillable tank with replaceable coils. Vaporesso lists compatibility across the GTi coil platform, giving existing GTi users a familiar replacement-coil family.

Two Dual Mesh options come with the kit:

The 220W figure describes the mod’s maximum output. The included coils have their own operating ranges, so match your settings to the installed coil.

The two supplied resistances also give you a starting point for comparing how each option feels before buying replacements.

Replaceable Batteries and Electronic Protections

The Armour Octa uses two removable 18650 batteries rather than a built-in battery. Remember to account for those separately when putting together your order.

Vaporesso describes a Battery Guard system that cuts output when the difference between battery voltages exceeds 0.9V. Charging protections address overvoltage and overheating, while Overtime Protection 2.0 cuts output after an extended button press and powers the device off after repeated overtime triggers.

These features are part of the device’s protection system; follow the supplied safety manual when choosing, handling, and charging batteries.

Six Color Options

The Vaporesso Armour Octa comes in 6 color options:

• Aero White

• Dark Black

• Rally Blue

• Rust Bronze

• Titanium Grey

• Vintage Green

That gives you a choice between neutral finishes and more distinctive color options without changing the core kit format.

Who Is the Armour Octa For?

Mi-Pod positions the Armour Octa for experienced adult vapers who prefer direct-lung vaping. Its appeal centers on an adjustable mod, a separate refillable tank, and replaceable batteries and coils.

If those are the features you look for in a setup, this new arrival is worth a closer look. Consider the whole kit when comparing options: the device, batteries, replacement coils, and your preferred tank format all belong in the decision.
